What do you like best about Argo CD?

Argo CD makes GitOps adoption extremely straightforward. The UI is clean and intuitive, and it gives you a clear, real-time view of the state of your Kubernetes applications. I really like how easy it is to manage deployments, track differences, and roll back changes whenever needed. Syncing applications directly from Git brings consistency and removes a lot of manual steps from the workflow.

The integration with tools like GitHub, GitLab, Helm, and various SSO providers works seamlessly, and setting RBAC rules is simple. It also provides excellent visibility into application health, which makes troubleshooting deployments much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Argo CD?

Argo CD is powerful, but it can be complex to configure initially, especially when setting up multiple clusters or more advanced automation policies. ArgoCD helps us automate the continuous delivery(CD) of Kubernetes applications.

ArgoCD provided the option for automatic or manual sync of the Kubernetes application, which helped us choose the sync option per the requirement.

We can easily integrate different Kubernetes clusters with ArgoCD using good cli.

ArgoCD helps us to avoid the manual efforts of deploying applications in Kubernetes; with the help of ArgoCD, we automate the continuous delivery of Kubernetes applications which continuously monitor the state of an application with source code in Github and perform the sync operation in the event of changes or new deployment inside Github code.

ArgoCD provided the option for automatic or manual sync of the Kubernetes application, which helped us choose the sync option per the requirement.

We can easily integrate different Kubernetes clusters with ArgoCD using good cli.

Argo CD pipeline is first of all easy to install on the kubernetes and easy to setup with our github or any other source control tool. It will pick up the developer code push and start deploying the code on the server. This helps to continuously deliver the code on the various environments and also keeps all envs in sync. What do you like best about Argo CD?

ArgoCD is best at performing GitOps on k8 clusters, I really like the 360-degree view of applications. Also from argocd ui, we can see pods logs from there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes It takes a good amount of time for syncing applications, also argocd errors are not very straighforward and there is no single troubleshoot document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We heavily use argocd APIs and integrated them with our internal CICD tool. We host 10+ repositories on argocd and behind the scene, argocd is handling 100+ of K8 clusters both on cloud and on-premise, with arogcd there is single source of thruth of what all application versions running on multiple K8 clusters.
