Despite its interface and limited customization options I must say that the cartographic capabilities of ArcGIS Desktop are truly impressive. The software offers configurations that eventually prove to be advantageous. Although it can be complex, at times it provides a range of features. The only downside is that it tends to slow down when dealing with datasets. Nevertheless even though it includes tools that I might not personally utilize I still consider it to be a choice for my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
