Describe the project or task ARCAD Software helped with:

ARCAD is a software used in AS400 / IBM iSeries for integration, deployments, applying PTFs (program temporary fixes). We can deploy code using versions and the same versions can be deployed to remote AS400 servers or partitions as per project requirements. After completing the program and testing, the key thing is to install that piece of code to live/test or different environments. That can be done using ARCAD in AS400 technology. What do you like best about ARCAD Software?

Multipatform, hybrid, secured software. Arcad Versions are easy to manage, hold release and deploy programs. ARCAD can be integrated to JENKINS like CICD tool and continuous deployment, run time errors in builds can be analyzed. ARCAD submits build jobs as part of functionality those can be configured as per need, analyzed. If a development or enhancement is to be applied to various partitions or environments it can be easily achieved using ARCAD using jobs. ARCAD makes AS400 applications more robust. What do you dislike about ARCAD Software?

ARCAD has a basic green screen-based UI, which can be modified to an IBM RDI-like easy-to-read access user interface. Though it's flexible and can be configured with multiple technologies and DevOps platforms, that's still no disadvantage for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
