Appy Pie also has some great features that make it easier for me to develop apps quickly. **What do you dislike about Appy Pie?** It needs to remove paid features that require users to pay a fee in order to monetize the app. It should also add an option that lets one app be monetized for free per account. **What problems is Appy Pie solving and how is that benefiting you?** My clients and I have a large number of apps built with AppyPie, and these apps are live on the Google Play Store. From time to time, we run into Android version and API key issues, but AppyPie releases updates ahead of time and helps us push our app updates on schedule. No coding experience required. **What do you dislike about Appy Pie?** I signed up for AppyPie a few years ago because it looked affordable, but my experience has been the opposite. At every turn I’ve been pushed to pay hundreds more—often just to get what I’d consider basic support - like resubmitting an app after their platform failed a compliance check. Support has been relentless about upcharges and upgrades. On one occasion, a support rep insisted I owed hundreds of dollars for something I had already paid and wouldn’t back down until I dug through my credit card statements and proved it. The pricing appears cheap at first, but in practice you end up paying far more—especially when their platform has a problem and you’re told the “solution” is another paid upgrade. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AppyPie and after years tolerating this nonsense we are finally looking to change platforms. **What problems is Appy Pie solving and how is that benefiting you?** Was able to build 2 apps and 1 website with very little experience necessary. ### 5. For instance, they provide support for the app we have built on their platform. We have taken their best deal, negotiated the price and when we took it, the service was really bad. App functionalities simply break without us doing anything. Ease of integration and ease of use are overshadowed by the fact that almost every day things crash without us doing anything. And to top it off, they offer us another deal for 2400€ per year for server fee, that didn't existed before, to migrate and maintain our one app because of recent google policies, and if we refuse to take it, they will simply shut our app down. **What problems is Appy Pie solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are trying to solve google sheet to app sheet connectivity by using existing google tokens. Problem with this is whenever we try to modify something within those sheets, they disconnect, and all of them had to be reconnected manually. That happens every single time. I recorded the video of proble, I have sent pictures, but they refuse to acknowledge the existing problem, and offer only some sort of political replies where they are trying to fix something. This has been happening for months already, and we simply are not getting anywhere. App sheets are the most important part of using our app, and if we try to add some new information or try to modify them, they always disconnect and it is tiresome to set them back to normal. ### 6. The drag n drop interface is pretty intuitive to use and easy to customize. They have lots of great templates/ themes to start with, or you can just give the AI some prompts and see what it comes up with to start. The support is very responsive, although it took me 3 days and 3 long conversations to resolve connecting my custom .love url with my website. I think it depends which rep you get helping you. But they are all very nice and doing their best. **What do you dislike about Appy Pie?** Tricky to connect custom domain, need support help.
