## Apple Numbers Reviews
  ### 1. Stunning Visual Spreadsheets Made Effortless

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreyas A. | Data Management Consultant - BTP, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Apple Numbers stands out for its clean, canvas-like interface, which lets you place tables, charts, and media anywhere on a single sheet rather than locking you into a rigid grid. It makes creating highly visual, presentation-ready dashboards incredibly easy, and its seamless, free ecosystem integration across Mac, iPad, and iPhone is unbeatable for Apple users.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

The biggest limitation is its lack of advanced data processing capabilities, which makes it struggle with massive datasets that Microsoft Excel handles easily. It also suffers from a deficit in robust features like pivot tables, complex statistical functions, and macro automation, while its limited cross-platform collaboration feels restrictive for teams working outside the Apple ecosystem.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Numbers solves the problem of cluttered, hard-to-read spreadsheets by treating the sheet as an open canvas rather than a single massive grid. This benefits me by allowing me to combine multiple independent tables, charts, and text boxes into beautiful, presentation-ready financial reports and tracking dashboards that look professional without any extra formatting effort.

  ### 2. User-Friendly and Cost-Effective Spreadsheet Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac G. | Technology Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

I like how Apple Numbers is very user-friendly in dealing with different tables on the same spreadsheet. It offers ease of manipulation, especially in formatting items that need to be printed, and it's easier than Excel for handling multiple tables. The formulas are pretty much the same between Apple Numbers and Excel, but I appreciate the drag-and-drop interface that's more touch-friendly. The ability to export documents as an Excel spreadsheet is a great feature, allowing easy sharing with those who prefer Excel. I also find the robust mobile app impressive, as users can use it on their iPads with a touchscreen-friendly design. It's very accessible, free to download from the App Store, or deploy through our MDM, making it easy to manage without license concerns. The print preview option is particularly valuable, reducing the need for help desk tickets and questions about formatting and printing.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

The things that don't work as well is that our users sometimes will forget to export the document as an Excel file before emailing it, and the users don't really understand that. So I wish that the tool had a way to just remind users when they export or share to say, do you want to export this as an Excel document? It probably goes against the idea of Numbers being a replacement to Excel, but, honestly, I have many users that don't understand that concept when they're sharing their documents.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Apple Numbers because it's free and easy to deploy, solving licensing issues for our staff. It's user-friendly on iPads, and the touchscreen support makes it intuitive. It reduces help desk queries with its simple interface and useful print preview option.

I really like the ease of using tables and how clean it looks, formulas can be used and everything is very simple, plus everything is connected, both on iPad and iPhone, and it's free.

The disadvantage I see is that it is not as automated as macros or the like, it requires a manual process.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Numbers to calculate my taxes when I issue invoices for fees, whether to a legal entity or an individual, as the calculation changes and it works very well.

**Reviewed by:** Parth D A. | Peer Tutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Apple numbers is a smoother version of Excel. It is really built well and has a lot of templates which. might be useful to people. It is a great software to do calculations, accoutning and analysis or any data and it is easy to use. The cross sync function with apple id is amazing! Customer support is really well for Apple products.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

This tool is not as great as its competitor which is MS Excel. The first problem is that it is not available on all devices. It works solely with Apple Devices. The UI seems very simple but this is meant to do complex tasks, which users cant do easily compared to other tools. This is not so easy to integrate in your day to day lives. I do not use it frequenctly.

Apple Numbers solves the problem of complex spreadsheet management with its user-friendly and visually appealing interface. It provides easy-to-use templates and built-in features for data organization, calculations, and graphing. This helps you quickly create and manage spreadsheets without needing advanced skills, making it easier to track data and present information effectively.
