What do you like best about AppHarbor?

Unit testing is carried out effectively for our ASP.NET web application deployments with Microsoft SQL Server since it integrates with the Gallio automation platform. It has rich add-ons through which we can implement our test cases with any language as soon as we install its extensions. The Microsoft SQL Server databases are dedicated & reliable for our production .NET applications as AppHarbor takes care of its underlying infrastructure, daily backup provisions and 24/7 database monitoring features. What do you dislike about AppHarbor?

We utilize a shared SQL server model for our enterprise and once we encountered insufficient memory in our resource pool issue, due to which we were unable to access our SQL server. We raised a support ticket and within an hour, the server was restarted and all our services were regulated to normalcy. AppHarbor support team acknowledged our issue through email and also informed us after the server was accessible which is appreciable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AppHarbor solving and how is that benefiting you?

AppHarbor provides an excellent platform to implement our ASP.NET application conveniently through its SQL server add-on subscription. Its Sequelizer effectively injects various connection settings directly into our application with ease. Whenever we feel that our application is running slowly, we utilize Glimpse packages deployment to gain information on which components of our application are causing slowness and integrate New Relic to obtain detailed performance reports. If there is any connectivity issue in the Sequelizer SQL server, we can simply remove it and include its Add-on again for quick troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
