What do you like best about Apidog?

What I value most about Apidog is that it combines design, documentation, testing, and mocking of APIs into a single tool. I used to use Postman for testing and Swagger for documentation, and keeping both synchronized was a problem. Now I design the endpoint once, and the documentation and mocks update themselves. What do you dislike about Apidog?

I would like to be able to edit environment variables faster. Today, to change a value, you have to go to the environment settings, find the variable, and edit it there. It would be much more convenient to hover over the variable within the request and change its value right there, without leaving the view I'm working in. I also miss a more complete MCP integration: an AI assistant that can not only read the API specification but also create and execute tests or manage environments directly. What problems is Apidog solving and how is that benefiting you?

Apidog resolves the disconnection between design, documentation, and testing of APIs. Previously, these three things lived in different tools and became unsynchronized with each change. Now I have a single source of truth: I define the endpoint, and the documentation, mocks, and tests are aligned. In full-stack projects, this allows me to progress on the frontend with mocks while the backend is still in development. Automated environment tests give me more confidence when deploying because I detect contract errors before reaching production. In summary: I save time, there are fewer integration errors, and communication with the team is smoother because everyone sees the same updated documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
