"It's the Best Open Source Template Maker for Document Creation"

5/5

What do you like best about Apache Velocity?

You want to make a document in MS Word format or any document with some static and some dynamic content, Apache Velocity is the solution. You want to send an email with some dynamic content, use Velocity. The creation of tags is very simple, and the XML format makes it easy to understand and directly edit the XML to fetch the data. With its feature of handling very complex data types and map list strings, all features with if-else and loop iteration, it's very easy to get information from any data object. The template creation also helps in creating document-based XML templates where you can add images, formatting, and other features, and the same goes for emails and other usages of the template.
