It allows users to model and simulate complex supply chain networks, model healthcare systems, plan transportation and logistics, and optimise manufacturing processes.

  ### 2. Interesting features of AnyLogic !

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pascual G. | IT Project Manager at Maxia Latam, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about AnyLogic?**

Its relative easy to model variables for almost any problem. On the other hand, it is a design platform that can make visible situations of improvement in an organization and through its graphic modeler, it can impact those for timely decision making, which is why it is definitely an excellent option.

**What do you dislike about AnyLogic?**

Although it is definitely a highly reliable tool, it is important to highlight that to use it comfortably, the hardware is required sized according to the type of models that are developed and thus not fall short in the execution of the implemented dynamic systems, the above because, at As we make the model more complex, more processing is required.

**Recommendations to others considering AnyLogic:**

You can definitely consider AnyLogic as an excellent alternative for the development of dynamic models because it is an extremely stable and mature tool, which allows you to trust in the use of the product.

**What problems is AnyLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my case, I have had the opportunity to participate in modeling related to the health sector, developing simulations with up to 110 variables that allow generating a design for the different departments and service units in a hospital. Thus, it can be inferred about the spontaneous demand in the care service.

  ### 3. It was an interesting and insightful experience using Anylogic simulation software.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about AnyLogic?**

Anylogic helps in using the discrete, agent-based and system dynamics libraries together which makes simulation more realistic. Using Java functions for customization has been a lot of help while using it for my work. It also has many examples which makes easy for beginners to learn. The interface of the software is also user-friendly. All the libraries and other modules are easily accessible. Also, there are many examples available; which although require more in-depth explanation for new users; is good enough for anyone who has a basic knowledge of this software. Anylogic is a "one-stop" software for any purpose, be it for financial sector, healthcare, supply chain, logistics or traffic management, it has a multi-purpose use.

**What do you dislike about AnyLogic?**

I felt that more modules/documentation can be provided to learn from grass root level. Though examples are present it doesn't tell one how to do it, but only what has to be done. Also, one has have good knowledge of Java, or at least Object-oriented concepts to do good projects which is kind of a downside. Any learner who is not well experienced in this will find it a tedious task to do the work. Also, when compared to other simulation software's like Flexsim it is difficult to construct a model. Flexsim allows a 3d model to be made and simulated without the use of "blocks" as in Anylogic.

**Recommendations to others considering AnyLogic:**

I recommend one to know the basics of what work one is trying to implement. Just knowing the software will not help. Also, try to learn the basics of Java and Object oriented programming. It will surely help you to do good projects. Also, if you are a beginner, try to learn other software's like Flexsim and then come and learn Anylogic. New users may be intimidated with certain functionalities of the software. But if you get stuck anywhere the Anylogic is a big community which has many users, and asking a question on Stack Overflow or somewhere will give you your answers.

**What problems is AnyLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly problems related to Supply Chain Management like Warehouse Optimization and Management and Logistics.

  ### 7. Anylogic Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2020

**What do you like best about AnyLogic?**

Various simulation tools. Also easy to perform graphs and monitor variables. I think the statistics and graphs that you can do in Anylogic are very useful for presentations.

**What do you dislike about AnyLogic?**

The java interface can be tricky for people who don't know java. However, I'm not a java user and never programmed in java before using Anylogic and I felt like it was quite easy to learn.

**Recommendations to others considering AnyLogic:**

Use the "Art of Process Centering Modelling" book. The online tutorials that can be found on youtube are also very useful.
Another efficient way of learning Anylogic is to do the tutorials in the Anylogic program itself. I've tried the "Supply Chain" tutorial to learn how I can model a supply chain, which was needed for one of the classes I'm taking at my university. Anylogic allowed me model various situations that may happen in a supply chain. For example you can set a schedule that simulates when a distribution van may leave the distribution centre and go to it's corresponding destination. Another thing that you might need to use Anylogic is to know some java basics

**What problems is AnyLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

College related problems. I had to model a suplly chain for a college course and It was pretty easy to do so. I'm now interested if I can apply anylogic to CFD in anyway.

  ### 8. Versatile tool for simulation

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** S C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about AnyLogic?**

Very dynamic and extreme detailing can be done. Features are extremely beneficial. All sorts of simulations can also be done. Visual representation is excellent. Agents are very detailed and perfected. For an expert, this is an ultimate tool. Representation of results are great. Also, agent based simulating is a significant feature. Not many available tools can handle agent based simulation. The software advanced and is capable of handling and simulating large projects. However, significant advance knowledge is required to conduct such extensive project.

**What do you dislike about AnyLogic?**

There are some severe demerits. Its extremely complex tool. Java is often required. The software is extremely resource (Graphics/ RAM) consuming, The biggest downside is the programming tool requirement to feature important characteristics of agents. Therefore, it is not easily doable by all, and it takes quite some time to understand the console. There are better tools available for such scenarios.

**Recommendations to others considering AnyLogic:**

This is a very capable tool. However, it demands significantly advanced user knowledge to successfully operate this software. The interface and agent based system is quite complex. So it is only advisable for people who absolutely needs most of the features.

**What problems is AnyLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Supply chain logistics problems, job shop problems, air traffic management problems. Its easier to demonstrate and visualize. Keeps the students interested. Details are great, such as the introduction of the sample camera in the job shop problem as an agent. Also, the graphical representation is one of the best available and is extremely engaging. However, it is quite resource consuming too.

  ### 9. Anylogic:Simulate the business specially supplychain processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Qamar H. | Import officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2020

**What do you like best about AnyLogic?**

Best practice to design a process to simulate the process with actual figurs and on real ground, the anyLogic provide effective simulation of supplg chain, manufaturing, mechanical and many other processes.
Very easy in installation, processes with more details on each step can be concluded by putting a data label or any such tool there. END TO END process simulation like manufactruing, demand, plants, capicity, labours every thing can be simulated and concluded the results before deploying it.

**What do you dislike about AnyLogic?**

Not easier, no open support is available. Business approach is purely understand and transmit into any logic terms, whicn are not common, it is not driven by setting a data file, like excel table etc.

**What problems is AnyLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manufacturing control system, planned manufacturing order with respect to capicity hence concluded optimised way by minimised or increased the resources as well meet the demand.
Concluded wastes and bottle necks and addresses them.
Change the layout of plant by simulating it many ways, changed it according to material flow and building structure.

  ### 10. I experienced anyLogic during my university background as a logistic engineer.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Glass, Ceramics & Concrete | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2020

**What do you like best about AnyLogic?**

AnyLogic is capable to give smart visualization models and interactive animations along with an extensive object libraries.
Unlike other simulation development methods, AnyLogic does not rely only on isolated events; it often integrates machine dynamics and methodologies depending on the agents. AnyLogic holds the reputation of being the first machine simulation tool to incorporate a multi-method methodology for better precision and consistency in the scenarios.
Creating business scenarios from scratch in AnyLogic is not anything novice users should be expected to understand immediately; nevertheless, AnyLogic may feel like playing around in SimCity after playing around with established models and prototypes.
I loved the multi-method market simulation strategy, and they really appreciate the exceptional simplicity and the freedom to access and modify the source code on the fly.

**What do you dislike about AnyLogic?**

It can be difficult sometimes to visualize the entire model, because there are too many items in the sheet.
The discrete approach of events is suitable for the industrial industry, it is not the greatest as it incorporates multiple external interactions and individual objects. AnyLogic might not be the simplest program to know in simulation, but it's worth studying and applying.

**Recommendations to others considering AnyLogic:**

I think that the main strength of AnyLogic is being able to incorporate the agent-based and system-dynamics simulation frameworks. I strongy reccomend it for that.
Users that are not acquainted with programming can often dismiss displaying the source code stand, but the many feature sets, resources and variable controls will render AnyLogic look daunting.
Also the error notes are not obvious, so much of the time I didn't realize what was incorrect.
The learning curve is steep without adequate instruction I 'd understand why people would struggle with the app at first.

**What problems is AnyLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've modelled an industrial symbiosis plan.
In the final model I could demonstrate that my project was efficient from an economic point of view.
