I've been using Animaker for 4 years now and I had lots of experience with the software; I loved how it's so easy to make cartoon characters and videos, the customer service was fast, and issues were resolved quickly. I don't like how Animaker had placed in 2-minute export limit, it used to be unlimited, such as uploading, it was unlimited too with a generous limit of 25GB, now sadly downgraded to 2GB for free plans. And some high-quality assets were restricted to a higher plan. I wish there was a discount so I can afford it and continue making great DIY videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The layers UI is confusing. If i have something positioned on top of another object is nearly impossible to select that object. Perhaps double click or multi click to keep going deeper in the stack or some other obvious UI way to do it. Would be nice to be able to loop sections and also improve processing speed. Trying to do edits and waiting for renders is tedious. Perhaps a browser extension or light weight chromium app version. Should add the following

-- Show audio track in scene editor (helps align animations to words)

-- For above it would be cool to have a snap to audio given a selected element

I want a software to create online courses for people getting started in coaching cheerleading but had no foundation. This software was the best that I found that can create seamless online courses, easy interface, fun, creative, and educational. I like being able to use the characters because it feels like someone is teaching you and adds to the experience. I’ve done many online training courses in my career but this is by far my favorite. If any of these course I’ve taken used animaker it wouldn’t have been boring. I’ve used so many other websites such as this but this is by far the best one for what I want. Since I started using Animaker, I find it to be a really practical tool for creating anime-style illustrations and videos without needing any particular skills in drawing or editing. What I appreciate the most is the simplicity: you just need to write a prompt and the software automatically generates an image quite faithful to what I imagine.

Animaker also allows you to create a voice-over from a text (text-to-speech) and synchronize it with the avatar of your choice. It is also possible to import an external voice-over, which can be very useful depending on the needs. You can customize the avatar, the scenes, and many other elements in just a few clicks.

Another advantage is that it works entirely online: no installation is necessary, and I can use it from any device. I also like the ability to test different styles and variations very quickly: motion design, 3D design, realistic design... You can even create a video capsule from a PowerPoint.

The productions are stored online, which allows you to improve, modify, or edit them at any time.

what i like best about the Animaker is i can choose different characters for certain scenario's for my content to create to catch my audience attention. Plus i can make different posses and make them move wherever i want them and load up for lip sync and make the characters talk on real time. I like that i am also able to choose the different backgrounds for my scenario's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

what my dislike of Animaker is that there is very few characters to choose from for free like the teenagers. It used to be over 2 minutes that you can create free content but now it is limited to 2 minutes. Also to create your own character as far as the children and teenagers you have to upgrade. I am very satisfied with Animaker. I find it particularly good that videos can be explained very well with Animaker. The colors of backgrounds and the characters captivate the audience and leave a cool impression when I see the video for the first time. Some aspects work well, but there are limitations in the flexibility of animating certain objects. For example, I couldn't show a car moving from left to right and had to find another option in Animaker. At the beginning, the installation was a bit difficult, but now it is easier. It offers premium animation and video generation for multiple uses for FREE and the logo or watermarks is cute too. There's a wealth of avenues of how one can educate or entertain, or do both in a light hearted yet impactful way. Its clea, trustworthy, professional and I should be using it more often! Nothing really just that when we add a script, don't add em-dashes on the final presentation or possibly expand and use all aspects of the detailed script in the way its entered. I don't have any specific dislikes, though I recognize that because it is an all-in-one, cloud-based platform, users with very slow internet may occasionally experience lagging or slowdowns during complex projects.
