Animaker is a perfect platform supporting novices to create engaging animated videos for educational or marketing purposes. Recently I had the opportunity to explore the app while designing an instructional video for a professional development course. As an educator seeking to improve my instructional game through the use of AI tools, I found Animaker to be just what I needed. The application provides a one-stop-shop with all the tools needed for animated video design including characters, landscapes, music, AI voice overs, text features and more. I love the video I designed and believe the animated video story will engage my students in learning an otherwise boring literary lesson. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Animaker? I had a few issues including having difficulty accessing all the editing layers, adjusting the volume of the background music, and finding glitches in the Preview which were not showing up in the editing mode. These may just be limitations associated with the free version of the app. Another concern is the cost to download and share the videos if they are longer than the two minute free limit. While $25.00 per month (Starter Packager) doesn't sound that expensive, the annual cost must be paid up front. I'd prefer to try it out on a monthly basis to make sure this is an app that I will use regularly before making the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Animaker solving and how is that benefiting you? Animaker is helping me to create engaging instructional videos to help my 8th grade students to learn and apply English language arts concepts. By combining visuals, animations, text, and music, I can make abstract concepts more tangible to support individual learner needs. Middle school students appreciate animated movies and Animaker is helping me to turn boring English content into engaging video experiences.
