What do you dislike about Angular?

Honestly, the learning curve is the biggest hurdle — new teammates take weeks to get comfortable with RxJS, DI, and decorators before they're productive. Even small features mean juggling several files and a lot of boilerplate. Upgrades are another sore spot: almost every major release breaks something, and we end up spending sprint time on fixes. To be fair, signals and standalone components are genuinely making things better — I'd just love smarter ng update codemods and snappier builds on bigger projects. What problems is Angular solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Angular, our frontend was a patchwork of jQuery and hand-rolled scripts — every feature meant reinventing the wheel, and bugs slipped in with each release. Angular gave us real structure: components, dependency injection, and the CLI mean everyone writes consistent code without endless debates, and the built-in router, forms, and HTTP client let us drop a bunch of third-party glue code. Since switching, feature turnaround is roughly a third faster, new hires can open any project and find their way around on day one, and we're seeing about 30% fewer regressions per release thanks to TypeScript's type safety.
