What do you like best about Android?

As a graphic designer, I rely on Android throughout my daily workflow for things beyond actual designing. I use it to communicate with clients, check design previews, drafts, review files, quick reference photos and manage project related apps. Having access to all these tools from one device makes it easier for me to keep up with client work and handle other smaller tasks at same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Android?

One thing I dislike is that some apps are really inconsistent with notifications and background activity. For example, when I’m waiting for client messages, file updates, or other project-related notifications, I sometimes have to open the apps and check manually to make sure I haven’t missed anything. It seems to be an issue with only certain apps, but it can still be inconvenient—especially when I’m working with tight deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Android solving and how is that benefiting you?

Android helps me handle a lot of the smaller parts of my design work. I use it to communicate with clients, review project updates, check files and design previews, take reference photos, and manage work-related apps.
