"Very Powerful Image Hosting & CMS with Lots of other Features"

What do you like best about Amplience?

Amplience is a simple yet powerful image host among many other things.

It allows my team and other teams within my organization to upload, share and manage asset libraries. Its dynamic content URLs are directly used by or CMS.

My favorite feature is the asset purge, which allows me to quickly change and substitute images live on our website without depending on anyone else.

This is a huge time saver for my team and one of the best features I use from the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplience?

Sometimes working in Amplience is not super intuitive and some functionalities are hidden under different menus and workspaces, resulting in me as an user not knowing they were ever there. I know they are working on a redesigned experience and hopefully it will be much easier to navigate once released. Also, we recently we had a meeting with Amplience and they showed us features we didn't know existed and clarified a lot of points, which was extremely helpful.

Another simple feature I currently miss is bulk downloading assets that are published. For instance, I have a list of 50 product shots I need to download in high-resolution from Amplience, and as far as I know, there's no way of downloading them all at once. What problems is Amplience solving and how is that benefiting you?

Amplience took their time to understand our needs, as well as the way we work with their platform, and came personally to talk about the solutions we required. For the moment, we have ongoing support and open conversation about what was discussed in person.

From the discussed topics, a couple of examples were; bulk deleting assets, which would allow us to clean-up our space from old and obsolete assets; asset tagging, which is a functionality we already have that would allow our merchandising team to keep track and organize assets for specific products families, colors, sizes, etc.

We also know, as mentioned in the previous answer, that they are working on a complete redesign of their platform, as well as implementing new features, which we are hopping will improve even further the efficiency of working in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
