Amazon Personalize makes it possible to build high-quality recommendation systems without requiring deep machine learning expertise. I especially appreciate how Dataset Groups, Solutions, Campaigns, Recipes, and Real-Time Recommendations automate much of the ML lifecycle, while still letting recommendations adjust as user behaviour changes. The service scales automatically and integrates smoothly with transactional and behavioural datasets. Performance is excellent for serving low-latency recommendations, which makes it a good fit for e-commerce, media, and content platforms. Overall, it can deliver strong ROI by improving customer engagement and conversion rates, without requiring organisations to build recommendation algorithms from scratch. Preparing clean interaction datasets takes time, and recommendation quality depends heavily on the completeness and quality of historical user behaviour.
