What do you like best about Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS)?

I like how Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) provides durable persistent storage for both application and infrastructure workloads, which simplifies cloud storage management a lot. I find the snapshots feature excellent for simplifying backup and recovery. I appreciate the volume scaling, which makes storage expansion easier. The provisioned IOPS delivers better performance for critical workloads, and the seamless cloud operations it offers through deep integration with AWS greatly enhance high availability and durability. It's also great that it allows for reliable persistent storage and really reduces infrastructure management effort while providing easier scalability with better cloud-native integration. What do you dislike about Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS)?

Yeah. Storage cost can increase for high performance workloads, especially when using provisioned IOPS volumes. Managing performance tuning and selecting the right volume type can also take some effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
