What do you like best about Amazon DocumentDB?

AWS documentDB is very easy to setup and configure JSON doc database. It is highly scalable and can encrypt clusters using keys which is very helpful. During my role as an intern in the company, we implemented the AWS document DB to store data and scaled it as per the firm requirements. Also, it was very consistent, and AWS support was beneficial during our project implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon DocumentDB?

AWS documented was very useful and performed really well but the main drawback was lack of multi-region support, which AWS can and should fix going forward; other than that, AWS document DB is as good as it can get Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon DocumentDB solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem we faced was storing our JSON data and other files which needed to be encrypted. Hence, AWS document DB was our perfect choice as we demonstrated its ability to encrypt data in our final year project and used its same feature as an intern in our company. Therefore, it solved the major problem of encryption and benefitted us greatly throughout our role as an intern in the firm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
