"Alteryx Makes Spreadsheet Data Cleanup Fast and Effortless"

5/5

What do you like best about Alteryx?

how easy it makes cleaning and reshaping spreadsheet data. We all get handed files where people treated Excel like a sketchpad instead of a database, and fixing that manually eats up hours. With Alteryx, you just drag in a few cleaning tools, unpivot, filter out the garbage, and it’s pristine. Once the flow is set up, drop the next file in and you’re done in seconds. What do you dislike about Alteryx?

It has a steeper learning curve for business users than people let on. While dragging and dropping is intuitive, there are dozens of tools that look similar to a beginner, and getting into regex, multi-row formulas, or complex string parsing can be pretty intimidating if you don't have a technical background. It takes some real dedication before a non-technical person feels truly self-sufficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alteryx solving and how is that benefiting you?

It bridges the gap between messy operational files and structured reporting. Instead of analysts spending half their week wrestling with unstable pivot tables or giant Excel formulas that crash their machines, Alteryx standardizes the entire ingestion process. It saves tons of engineering time because business teams can hand off a workflow instead of asking us to clean their data manually every month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
