They helped us find the software that fit us best and supported the setup and implementation to ensure our needs were met. I appreciate their personable approach, building a relationship with us and knowing our business well. I also like that we consistently met with the same people from the company, ensuring they understood how our business operated. They helped us streamline and modernize our accounting software, saving time and enabling new functionality. Their support, like creating a report for us within a day, has been very beneficial. Modern AI and matching technology, along with multi-entity reporting, have been useful features of the software they helped us implement. **What do you dislike about Alta Vista Technology?** I would do more virtual trainings and seminars on the software that they consult on. Whenever we had an issue, we could email for support or advice and usually get a response within 10-15 minutes. They offered solutions to many of our issues and were incredibly helpful from the implementation phase to going live and beyond. The support and knowledge base they provide is the best I've seen. They make it easy and comfortable to ask questions of any size and provide guidance, support, and insight. I can’t say enough good things about the support and how smooth the transition from Great Plains to Sage Intacct was. They led us every step of the way, making a large task not seem overwhelming. **What do you dislike about Alta Vista Technology?** I have nothing negative to say about Alta Vista. **What problems is Alta Vista Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** They assisted in the conversion from Great Plains to Sage Intacct. The updated accounting software provides faster financial statement generation and intercompany transactions are much easier. Alta Vista Technology provides quick support, with responses in 10-15 minutes, guiding us through the implementation smoothly. ### 3. Senior Systems Admin **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025 **What do you like best about Alta Vista Technology?** Personally, I like Audra (our company's assigned customer success manager) the best about their service - without her management of all outstanding items/issues and constantly keeping us on track, up to date, and involved in current state of our system; manages the team of more iT/Developer IT support staff that actually does the support/resolving of issues/building of reports, add-ins, modifications for our system **What do you dislike about Alta Vista Technology?** Sometimes it seems lilke we might be getting charged for service hours that seem to have been identified and solved with a quick response from their tech team, but then are billed for a couple of hours - only to receive advice/how-to steps to fix or get around an obstacle in Intact, meaning they didnt really even fix or change or provide anything new/different to our system, but just gave insight on topics we may not have had known about . Even when this has come about though, Audra is always extremely consideate and understanding when we bring it to her attention and even follows up to be certain the fees are fair and reasonable. **Recommendations to others considering Alta Vista Technology:** Seem to have had a bit of change around their company with mergers,etc. but have been able to roll with it and still provide top-notch quality service and support. Frustrating that Sage Intacct doesn't provide any customer support with the amount it actually costs, as it seems that support would have been included, too. Mainly frustating when trying to figure out which system/add-in/settings might be at the root of an issue, as they (alike ourselves) sometimes even need us to run some trial and error type of situations when finding solutions to system problems **What problems is Alta Vista Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** tech support mainly in Sage Intacct but also with TItanium; assist with keeping up with our contract/costs/users/etc. and provide assistance with processes and questions In Intacct. ### 4. They are dedicated to see you through the implementation and not afraid to repivot as needed by working endless nights and pulling additional resources as needed for a successful implementation. There were many hurdles that we had to overcome and AVT was there to guide us through them all. **What do you dislike about Alta Vista Technology?** We were grateful that our former Great Plains consultant recommended us to AVT. We knew going in that we were in good hands and selected them after going through our partner selection process. AVT is a small team that sometimes resource may be constraint but they were able to provide us the attention needed including direct contact with the CEO. Very humble and smart group of people to work with. **Recommendations to others considering Alta Vista Technology:** We went through a very thorough vetting process with over 30+ that participated in the selection process and have asked a lot of questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions, have them demo your use case so that you are comfortable that it will fit your requirements, meet the implementation team prior to the engagement, do your due diligence and ask for references. It took us about 1-2 months of intense inquiries before narrowing down our choice of vendor selection. We had a wonderful team that really understood us. **What problems is Alta Vista Technology solving and how is that benefiting you?** An incredible team to help us navigate through the complexity of migrating to a new ERP system from helping us with the selection process with multiple options, providing us with use case demonstration tailoring to our specific requirements, and guiding us through the implementation project. It was a major undertaking to migrate from our Great Plains version 2018 to Sage Intacct with huge improvements in all aspects - ability to perform consolidation, reporting, customizing our revenue module, automating our AP processes from syncing from Concur to paying with SmartEFT, streamlining our workflow, and connecting with other systems. They understood our business requirements and immediately recommended us the right ERP solution to use. We are more efficient now with the robust capabilities that SI has to offer.
