"Helpful for multi-stakeholder deals, AI drafts need some editing"
4/5
What do you like best about Aligned?

I mainly use it to share deal stuff with prospects in one link instead of emailing proposal, security doc and demo recording separately. Our deals usually have 3-4 people from the buyer side and someone new always joins midway, so this has saved me a lot of resending.

Buyers don’t need to log in, which helps. Most of our contacts are in procurement and IT and they don’t like signing up for things.

Mutual action plan is the feature I use the most. Not every buyer updates it, but it’s still better than the Excel tracker we used before.

I check the engagement tracking before follow up calls, like who opened the room and which page they spent time on. Useful, but sometimes it just means they forwarded it to someone, so I don’t rely on it too much.

The AI part is okay. It gives a decent first draft for deal summaries but I rewrite most of it because it sounds very generic. HubSpot sync had a few issues in the beginning and we fixed some fields manually. Support was quick when we reached out. Pricing is a little on the higher side for a small team like ours.

Took me some time to set up the first few rooms, after that I made a template and now it’s quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aligned?

The AI generated content needs a lot of editing. It doesn’t really understand our product or how procurement buyers talk, so the summaries and business case drafts come out sounding the same for every deal.

HubSpot sync was a bit messy at the start. Some deal fields didn’t map properly and we had to fix them manually. It’s better now but it took a few weeks.

Analytics can be confusing. There’s a lot of data on views and time spent but it’s not always clear what to do with it, and it took me a while to figure out which numbers actually matter.

Some of our larger enterprise buyers still asked for a PDF or deck on email because their internal approval process needs attachments. So we end up maintaining both sometimes.

Pricing is on the higher side if you’re a small sales team with not many active deals at a time. Would be nice to have a cheaper plan for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
