Their CEO once explained their business model to me using a really cool analogy. He said, “We’re a LEGO blocks company. If you want, we can build a fully outsourced company for you. Or, if you prefer, we can provide only legal services.”
I liked that approach a lot, because the previous company we worked with tried to build their own culture inside our product outstaff business. With Alcor, they’re not going to push their culture on you if you don’t want that.
At the same time, they deliver an excellent level of service. For example, since the full-scale invasion we hadn’t had any team-building events, and only recently we finally decided to do one. Alcor organized everything and didn’t charge an additional penny.
Another example is hiring. We have pretty tough requirements to our candidates and Alcor is able to fullfill them. As an example they were able to find a guy who is a prize winner of World Programming Olympiad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don’t have anything specific to point out. Recently, though, it has become really hard to find candidates, but I’m pretty sure that’s a consequence of AI and the market in general rather than an Alcor issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
