"Granular Zero Trust Microsegmentation With Clear Workload Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Akamai Guardicore Segmentation?

What I like most about Akamai Guardicore Segmentation is its ability to provide granular, agent-based microsegmentation based on Zero Trust principles. It gives good visibility into application and workload communication and allows security policies to be applied based on workload identity and context rather than relying only on traditional network boundaries. I also find the ability to visualize communication flows and then use that information to build segmentation policies very useful for controlling east-west traffic and reducing unnecessary communication between workloads. What do you dislike about Akamai Guardicore Segmentation?

The main challenge is that the platform can take some time to fully understand and organize the environment before creating effective segmentation policies. In larger environments, the number of communication flows and policy dependencies can become complex to manage. The initial tuning and policy refinement also require careful monitoring to avoid unintentionally affecting legitimate application traffic. A simpler policy-management experience and more streamlined troubleshooting would make day-to-day administration easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
