What do you like best about Akamai Cloud Computing?

We appreciate having access to managed services, especially for MySQL databases, and we found the setup process far simpler than configuring a cluster manually. We rely on it as a core part of our main website stack, and integrating it with the existing systems we use every day was straightforward. Whenever we’ve needed support with our servers or databases, the team has consistently been available and quick to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Akamai Cloud Computing?

So far, our only real complaint is that we have to request limits for IP addresses each time we want to add new ones, and that process can sometimes take longer than we’d like. That said, we understand this is in place to help prevent abuse, so we can see the reasoning behind it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Akamai Cloud Computing solving and how is that benefiting you?

They’ve made it easy for us to host our public-facing infrastructure by providing timely updates, quick responses, and effective monitoring. We’ve relied on their services for several years, and although we’ve tried other providers in the past, those alternatives didn’t meet our needs. So far, Akamai has been the best provider we’ve worked with, and they’ve helped us save money on the servers and infrastructure we host through them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
