"Airpinpoint: Platform Built for Industrial Tool Tracking"

What do you like best about AirPinpoint AirTag Platform?

Airpinpoint is the perfect solution for my small business. The service team is quick to respond to suggested updates which is even more appealing for a relatively newly launched platform. We have tried Milwaukee Onekey, basic airtags, and evaluated every other option. Onekey only works with the network of Onekey app users. Airpinpoint leverages the Find My Iphone network just like an Airtag. Although Airtags also have the benefit of the Find My Iphone network, we found many disadvantages to simple airtags. First, the airtag batteries have less than 1 year of battery life in our experience. Given that we are tracking 50+ pelican cases carrying rental tools, we were getting overwhelmed with battery changes. Part of this was tracking the battery life or even functionally seeing where a given tag is located on Find My Iphone. The Find My Iphone app is built to locate a lost item. It is not built to access daily for asset tracking and lacks the features. Finally someone put it all together. Multiyear battery life, a powerful network, and a platform built for tracking assets. What do you dislike about AirPinpoint AirTag Platform?

The only negative is they are still new. The platform is completely functional as is, but they are very open to listening to their customers. My suggestion is to get onboard and interact with their team. We have 5 years of experience evaluating AIrtags and other devices. What problems is AirPinpoint AirTag Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our team rents industrial tools to industrial customers at refineries, petrochemical plants, lumber mills, steel mills, and more. When a tool does not make it to site on time, it creates a substantial amount of friction for everyone involved. With AirPinpoing we can tell and share with our customers exactly where their tool is in transit or onsite. One of our first tools to go out with a Airpinpoint tracker was during the recent winter storm. This tool was sent via UPS and due to weather conditions the tool was delayed at a Hub. UPS tracking claimed the tool was to be delivered the day the customer needed it. Our UPS contact also claimed the tool was on the truck for delivery. However we were able to confirm that the tool was actually 6 hours away still sitting at the HUB and in fact would not be arriving on time. We were able to deploy a courrier directly to the customer with a replacement tool same day. If we depended on the carrier information, there would have been an update later in the day and our customer would have been left high and dry. These situations create serious challenges with the customer and their job schedule would have been thrown off. The customer and our team would have been in a mad scramble after hours to get the tool to the customer. Instead we were the heros. Tracking equipment is not a money making endeavor for my business. It is a service and insurance policy for my customers. Our guiding vision is to build a business that offers the best possible experience for our customers.
