
I like the intervention goal setting and tracking part of aimsweb. It nice and quick to see if students are making progress towards their goal or if the goal needs to be readjusted. I also like that for the younger grades that the fluency passages have more of a phonic base to them where students can use their phonics knowledge to figure out unknown words. Since I am a reading I wish that the NWF portion would count whole words read WWR so I can see how students are blending or not blending. I would also prefer NWF emphasis vs LWSF. My reasoning for this is in the 1 min most students never get to the 3 letter blending portion and then I have to give another assessment to see which students are blending and which are not. I would also like a reading level component to the assessments to. I addition do not like all the different screens to get to places, it makes it very confusing for teachers that do not use this system a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
