Without coding you can quickly add pages and content to your site with the out of the box modules/widgets. The real power of Advantage is when you need to create custom content types. Developers can easily define their own custom content and have full control over these objects. Visual Studio extensions help to quickly create these content controls so you can concentrate on your business logic rather than setting up the implementation. Often using a CMS custom content can be limited to basic objects and is difficult to tie into the CMS UI. It is built on C# and Asp.net so more general issues can be resolved but Advantage does not currently have a big community of developers so searching for Advantage specific issues does not turn up many results.
