ADP has been the most helpful for keeping track of my tax documents and my W-2s. I’m able to access some of them straight from my phone, which makes it easier for me to get copies when I need them. So far, it’s been very easy to use and pretty thorough.

**What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?**

Every now and then, it logs me out and I have to enter all my credentials again. That’s probably the only thing I dislike; otherwise, everything has been OK so far.

So far, I haven’t run into any problems that they’re solving.

I like that I can use the app to clock in and out, and it transfers my W-2s for me to whatever app I decide to use for filing taxes. It also offers discounts on all kinds of things, like hotels, shopping, and trips. Everything works fast, I haven’t had any issues with it running, and the support and onboarding are super easy.

I don’t like that I have to change my password every three months.

As an employee the timecard was really easy but now as an administrator there is a lot to learn. Ultimately I like that it’s all in one and more things that are being implemented to make it more all in one.

There is so many backend things to learn and it can get confusing as a new administrator.

Onboarding with benefits. Since we transitioned it has made it easier for our team. Now using less platforms compare to using multiple.

Implementation was terrible.  No structure/guidance/plan/training.  Multiple implementation specialists and nobody completed the previous work of the other.

Still working on getting tax issues resolved from implementation and W2 corrections that have been in process for 4 months.  We were assigned a district rep and she was able to get us some guidance from different areas to help answer some general questions and set up issues.  She was also able to get our service rep to schedule some time with us so we could meet them and she could help us resolve some simple issues.

The payroll runs smoothly and rarely needs corrections. The self-service portal means employees handle their own pay stubs and tax forms, which saves HR a lot of back-and-forth. Time-off tracking syncing with the calendar was a nice surprise.

The interface feels a bit dated and can be overwhelming to navigate at first. Some tasks take more clicks than they should, and it feels like it could be simplified.

It centralizes payroll, time tracking, and HR data in one place instead of juggling multiple tools. Cuts down on manual errors and saves time during compliance reporting. Overall just less admin work for the HR team.

Access is a nightmare. You have to reset your password quite often, and I don't know how many times I've had to do it. Nothing was working for a year, and I had to open tickets with HR. The platform was not working. Also the support is horrible

I don't like the lag in time when using ADP Workforce Now. Often, this lag requires me to stop and reprogram or restart my phone or the app just to log in and do what I need to do. Also, there's a bug that no one talks about, which can be frustrating because it appears without any clear reason.

Additionally, the mobile app enhances my experience with ADP Workforce Now by offering convenience and accessibility, allowing for efficient management of tasks on the go.

**What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?**

I find certain aspects of the payroll system clunky and manual, which can be cumbersome to deal with. Additionally, some basic functionalities in the benefits administration are either manual or not available, complicating the process further. There is also an issue with guidance when calling for service, as it can be inconsistent and sometimes even inaccurate. Moreover, the initial setup of ADP Workforce Now was not easy, which posed challenges and later caused issues. . Lastly, my likelihood to recommend ADP Workforce Now is moderate, as reflected by my 5 out of 10 rating.

**What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?**

What I find most helpful about ADP WFN is how much it centralizes. I use it for everything from payroll and tax compliance to housing employee documents, acknowledgments, and even training. Having one system where I can run payroll, monitor compliance with California labor laws, assign learning modules, and capture policy acknowledgments saves me from bouncing between different platforms. It also gives me a reliable audit trail, which is huge for HR.

**What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?**

What I find least helpful about ADP WFN is that some parts feel clunky or not very intuitive. For example, uploading documents or assigning training can take more steps than you’d expect, and it isn’t always clear where something should be stored (Company Policy vs. Document Cloud). Reporting is powerful, but it can be time-consuming to build exactly what you need, and small errors can throw things off.

**What problems is ADP Workforce Now solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ADP Workforce Now is helping me solve a few big challenges in HR and payroll. Having payroll, timekeeping, and policies all in one place makes it easier to stay compliant and catch issues before they become bigger problems. It also solves the headache of scattered information. Before, employee files, training, and acknowledgments were split across systems. Now, I can house documents, track training through ADP Learning, and get acknowledgments directly in the platform. That makes audits, workers’ comp reviews, and tax filings much smoother.

The customer service rep retention is an issue. We go through reps like socks. It is out of control. Also, the initial setup was not a pleasant experience and was very rushed. It took years to clean up.

Typically the help is very good but there are times when it is hard to get the "right" person for the problem so it takes longer then needed to solve it.  Also, there are times when things are not completed on the backend but we don't find out until we try to run payroll and find the errors.  We can't fix those or check that they are completed because its on the backend and we don't have access.

It is very user friendly and easy to use especially for employees. The system is very self-explanatory in where everything needed is found for administrators and employees which is helpful in saving time finding what is needed at any given moment. ADP representatives are also very quick and knowledgeable when we do need to tag them in for situations.

The reporting is very basic for certain tracking and reviews that some companies need done so we're needing to find alternative ways to compile data needed. There are also certain limitations to processing tasks that can only be updated by the ADP team so having to call in and make arrangements sometimes isn't as efficient as other systems.

Running payroll easily is core when it comes to handling multiple clients at once and setting up employees is done quickly and efficiently with the user friendly interface, having someone else come in and continue handling tasks is beneficial.

Some of the reports are hard to modify, and creating custom reports can be a bit technical. I usually end up calling support to help create my custom reports.

We’ve been trying to review our ADP billing across 10 company codes, and it has proven to be difficult. 

However, recently we separated one company into two companies, and the ADP staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process.
