"Reliable Jobsite PDF Workflow, Though Advanced Editing Costs Extra"
4/5
What do you like best about Adobe Reader Mobile?

I like Adobe Reader Mobile’s reliable file rendering. I use it as my digital job folder to pull up architectural drawings and other project documents, reference plans during inspections, share pages with subcontractors, and mark up punch lists on the spot. I can add notes directly to a sheet with the date and my initials, which helps me keep track of issues and saved me from reworking three floors because I could see which unit had the drywall issue. I also like that a drawing I annotate on site shows up on my office laptop by the time I get back, so the office team doesn’t have to wait for me. I can open the same document on my iPad, smartphone, or desktop without moving files between devices, which helps my workflow. Setup was straightforward, and the familiar interface meant there wasn’t much of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Reader Mobile?

I don’t like that the editing tools are locked behind a subscription. Basic commenting and highlighting are free, but editing text, combining files, or exporting to Word means hitting a paywall, even when I only need those features a few times. I’d prefer a one-time purchase option instead of another monthly bill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
