"Scalable, Flexible Platform for Complex Marketing Automation"

What do you like best about Adobe Marketo Engage?

What I like most about Adobe Marketo Engage is how scalable and flexible it is. It’s powerful enough to support complex initiatives such as lead scoring, segmentation, personalized content, and operational data cleanup, while still giving me the control to build processes that fit specific business needs.

I use Marketo daily, and I really appreciate being able to set up multiple workflows that run reliably in the background while I focus on other priorities. The email reporting features are also extremely helpful, giving me quick visibility into performance metrics that I can share with clients and use to guide targeting and optimization decisions. I also value how well Marketo integrates with platforms like Salesforce and Brighttalk, which makes it easier to connect campaign execution with downstream engagement and reporting. What do you dislike about Adobe Marketo Engage?

The user interface can feel dated in certain areas, and some workflows still require more manual effort than expected, such as adding flow steps one at a time. Troubleshooting can also slow productivity, since it sometimes requires digging across multiple tabs to trace campaign logic and dependencies. I’ve also experienced occasional lag with larger uploads and session timeouts, which can interrupt momentum. Adobe is making progress with AI capabilities, but that area still feels like it’s evolving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
