"Powerful Analytics with a Steep Learning Curve"

4/5

What do you like best about Adobe Customer Journey Analytics?

I really appreciate the workspace flexibility of Adobe Customer Journey Analytics; it's a standout feature for us. Being able to build custom views and segment data without needing to go back to a data team every time made a real difference for how quickly marketing could answer their own questions. The self-service aspect proves genuinely useful when stakeholders need quick answers during campaign cycles. The cross-channel visibility is another feature I like. Seeing web behavior, email engagement, and campaign data in the same report without manual joins is something we tried approximating with previous workarounds but never quite got right. Adobe Customer Journey Analytics does that part well. Though it requires some time to configure data views in a way that makes sense for specific workflows, once set up, it greatly improves reporting cycles and stakeholder conversations. What do you dislike about Adobe Customer Journey Analytics?

The learning curve is steeper than expected for non-technical users. We had people on the marketing side who struggled to get comfortable with how data views and filters work, and there was more hand-holding required than we anticipated before they could use it independently. It is powerful but it assumes a certain level of data literacy that not everyone on the team has. The cost is also a real consideration at our scale. For a company our size the licensing feels weighted toward much larger data volumes and enterprise use cases. There are moments where you are clearly paying for platform depth you are not fully utilizing, which is a harder sell internally when stakeholders are looking at the budget line. What problems is Adobe Customer Journey Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Adobe Customer Journey Analytics to consolidate cross-channel reporting, speeding up reporting cycles and reducing inconsistencies. It helps with attribution by providing a unified view of touchpoints. The self-service data segmentation empowers marketing to get quick answers, and integration is seamless with Real-Time CDP.
