What do you like best about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud (now Acronis Cyber Platform)?

What I like most about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud is having backup, disaster recovery, and security integrated into a single platform, managed by a centralized console. This greatly simplifies the routine because I don't need to manage multiple separate tools to protect data and endpoints. The configuration of protection plans is intuitive, and I can apply policies to multiple devices or clients at once, which saves a lot of time. The backups are reliable, and the restoration is quick, whether of individual files or entire machines, which brings peace of mind in cases of failure or ransomware attack. The AI-powered anti-malware protection and continuous monitoring are also significant differentiators. Additionally, the reports and alerts help track the status of everything and act quickly when something needs attention. What do you dislike about Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud (now Acronis Cyber Platform)?

One area that could improve is the initial learning curve. Since the platform consolidates many resources in one place, the console can seem a bit complex at first, and some more advanced settings end up in less intuitive menus. At times, the interface also becomes slower, especially when loading reports or managing a large number of devices.

The agent installed on the machines can consume more resources during backups and scans, which sometimes becomes noticeable to the end user. Additionally, the documentation in Portuguese could be more detailed, and the technical support, although it solves the problems, does not always respond with the expected agility.

Finally, the licensing and pricing model could be clearer, as understanding the cost of each additional resource requires some attention. Still, these are points that do not compromise the overall value of the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud (now Acronis Cyber Platform) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud primarily addresses the challenge of protecting data and systems against losses, failures, and cyberattacks, such as ransomware, without relying on multiple different tools. Previously, backup and security management was fragmented, which increased operational work and elevated the risk of unnoticed failures.

With the platform, we can centralize everything in a single console, with standardized policies and continuous monitoring, bringing more visibility and control over the environment. In practice, this reduced the time spent on manual tasks, sped up the recovery of files and systems when necessary, and decreased the risk of operational downtime.

Additionally, it helped meet compliance and information security requirements, as we have reliable backups and reports that prove the protection of the environment.
