"New to LMS and Loving Acorn’s Intuitive Platform and Excellent Support"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Acorn PLMS?

Our nonprofit has finally took the plunge to get an LMS, and Acorn has made this transition super smooth. The system is user friendly and intuitive, and the customer support has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acorn PLMS?

As new LMS-users, there is a bit of a learning curve to the system, and we are having to upload most of our content ourselves. Acorn has provided guidance, but we weren't prepared for the number of staff hours this would take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Acorn PLMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to Acorn, our training program was managed by spreadsheets and forms, which were prone to human error and tedious to maintain. Acorn is providing a one-stop shop for our staff for all things training-related, which we hope will increase engagement and make it easier for staff to access their training history and future professional development. We're also excited about the ability to automate reminders, emails and workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Acorn Performance LMS of Acorn PLMS

Thanks for the detailed feedback, we wanted to circle back on it. Good to hear the move from spreadsheets and forms has gone smoothly and that the support has helped you settle in. On the content-upload effort, you're not alone in finding the first-time load heavier than expected; our migration guide at https://help.acorn.works/help-centre/migrating-users-courses-and-completions-to-acorn and the bulk upload tools for users, enrolments and completions can take a lot of the manual work out of it, and your success manager can help sequence the remaining content so it's less staff-intensive. On the automation you're looking forward to, Release 1.7.13 (June 2026) rebuilt the Momentum experience so reminders, emails and workflows are easier to build and test, which should pay off once your content is in. Appreciate you taking the time.
