My personal favourite tool within AIQ is the GL Explorer. This tool enables the user to run a Trial Balance, a P&L or a Balance sheet for a month or in YTD terms, comparing Actual against Budget or Revised Budgets for any period. This tool can also be filtered by Bi-code/department so mini P&Ls can be run. Clicking a balance will bring up a transaction breakdown for that GL / group of GLs. It can be exported into several formats - Excel, PDF etc. This is a live tool so is invaluable to me when preparing management accounts, spotting trends against budget etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about AccountsIQ? I would like if the Expenses module could be used when you have a Bi-Code budget approval set up. Currently, it is only available with the Supplier Approval option. I would also like if it was possible to send a batch of invoices in one go - e.g. send all invoices on this account to abc@xyz.com. Currently, they must be sent individually which is very time-consuming. It would also be handy to be able to bulk email customers and suppliers from within the system if, for example, we wanted to alert them to new bank details or send out a bulk request for statements etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is AccountsIQ solving and how is that benefiting you? Configuring our BI-code structure has enabled us to do much more detailed analysis by cost centre/department. We also use this to track grant income and expenditure.
