The software is very user friendly. Our entire team easily started using the system, some with limited accounting software background. The reporting capabilities are great with the use of multiple layer BI reporting. For a cloud based software at such a competitive price point, it really does fill the gap between the smaller cloud softwares and the large and very expensive softwares and offers so much functionality, especially for consolidation purposes. The month end process is seamless and the use of bank feeds and the AP inbox has meant we have improved efficiency within the finance team. The help and support offered by AIQ is also fantastic and they are very willing to take onboard any suggestions you may have for improvements and work with you on anything you may need. The dashboard is also excellent and give a great overview of your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about AccountsIQ? There are a few functions not offered by AIQ that other softwares do (however AIQ are constantly improving and working on new functions). One example is a refund function that is currently not offered which makes processing a refund a longer than necessary process but this is being worked on and rolled out soon. We also deal with a number of subcontractors and require a CIS function that is not currently offered. AIQ are however working with us on this and, as mentioned above, are always looking to improve and help in any way they can. The built-in reports are fewer than other softwares however, AIQ offers power BI reporting with the excel add-on and Odata connection which really gives you unlimited reporting outside of the system. Ther reporting within the VAT module is not great, It does the job but can require manual analysis for reconciliation purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering AccountsIQ: Don't hesitate. It really does cater to every size of business at such an incredibly competative price and even if there are areas you feel it may not quite cover, you will likely find they are already working on rolling that out. What problems is AccountsIQ solving and how is that benefiting you? We are part of a group of companies and transitioned from a desktop accounting software to AIQ in March of last year. We still have more companies to move over before we can fully benefit from the capabilities of AIQ's consolidation function. So far on the individual companies we have transferred over we are seeing improvements in efficiencies within the finance team in both processing and reporting. We are really only scratching the surface on the capabilities of AIQ and what it can offer us from an insight perspective for our business.
