What do you dislike about AccountingBox?
AccountingBox lacks native DATEV export for German fiscal workflows at our Stuttgart software firm. Its audit-log filtering is limited, making it hard to isolate cross-border supplier transaction entries. Cross-border VAT tracking does not support EU OSS scheme logic. I must export datasets manually and cross-check entries in spreadsheets to ensure our financial records satisfy GoBD and DSGVO audit requirements. Also, importing our historic vendor invoices caused real friction; lots of entries needed manual metadata tagging for GoBD. The documentation offered limited guidance for German-specific fiscal configurations, leading to several days of manual validation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recommendations to others considering AccountingBox:
To enhance AccountingBox for German fiscal workflows, consider integrating native DATEV export and improving audit-log filtering capabilities. Enhancing cross-border VAT tracking to support EU OSS scheme logic would also be beneficial. Providing comprehensive documentation for German-specific fiscal configurations could reduce manual validation efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is AccountingBox solving and how is that benefiting you?
AccountingBox centralizes transaction trails, easing compliance tasks. However, it lacks native DATEV export for German workflows and has limited audit-log filtering. I need to manually export datasets and cross-verify entries to meet GoBD and DSGVO requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
