I like Abacum’s easy interface and how easy it is to integrate with the tools and apps we use, like Personio, Snowflake, and Google Sheets. I appreciate that Abacum keeps growing its integrations and asks us for feedback to improve the tool and our finance processes. The customer success team is really good, attentive to detail, and follows up on our questions and issues. I also like the webinars and academies they offer. Abacum gives us a secure space to consolidate data from different spreadsheets and supports visualization and AI assistance for analysis and finance storytelling. I think Abacum’s AI integrations still need to offer more insights. The Claude MCP connection is read-only, and I’d like to be able to use Claude AI to help with modeling directly in Abacum. The built-in AI tools can create new spaces and models, but I can’t use them to modify spaces that are already active. I also find the chart visualization tools in spaces too limited compared with what finance teams can do in Google Sheets or Excel. Implementation was kind of difficult because we weren’t prepared with the right internal team and capacity.
