What do you like best about Abacum?

Abacum makes FP&A work much more efficient by bringing data, planning, reporting, and variance analysis into one platform. I particularly like its flexibility, intuitive interface, and the ability to build dashboards and scenarios quickly without relying heavily on manual Excel work. What do you dislike about Abacum?

Abacum has significantly improved our planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, so the areas I dislike are relatively minor. If I had to highlight one, it would be that highly customized financial models and complex data transformations can sometimes require additional workarounds compared to the flexibility available in Excel. What problems is Abacum solving and how is that benefiting you?

Abacum solves the challenge of fragmented financial data, manual reporting, and time-consuming planning processes by centralizing data, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking in a single platform. For me, this means less time spent consolidating information across multiple spreadsheets and more time focused on analyzing variances, identifying business drivers, and supporting decision-making.
