What do you like best about Abacum?

Abacum is the first tool in my career that has enabled me to bring all our FP&A data sources together, meaningfully compare budget vs. actuals, and forecast line by line - down to individual vendors, employees etc.

We no longer rely on Excel files, and stakeholders can collaborate directly in Abacum. On top of that, the MCP connector to AI tools like Claude adds a powerful new dimension to how we work with our data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Abacum?

The syntax can be inconsistent, which makes it harder to work with than it should be. This is an area where Abacum has clear room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Abacum solving and how is that benefiting you?

All our financial data, actuals, and forecasts are in one place. Stakeholders can explore (drill down on) the numbers, add comments, and ask questions directly in Abacum, without passing files back and forth.

Abacum is our single source of truth, giving everyone a shared understanding of the numbers. This frees us up to focus on real FP&A work- analysis, forecasting, and decision support - instead of spending time reconciling data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
