What do you like best about 9MILLS?

The platform was built specifically around construction operations, not adapted from a generic workflow tool. The two things that made the biggest practical difference subcontractors connect directly into the system, which cut out the manual data bridging our foremen were doing every day. What used to take a full day of navigating Procore flows and Excel sheets now takes under 10 minutes to review and approve. The second is the procurement tracker, raw material purchasing and tracking is built into the platform as a core workflow, not a workaround. No more spreadsheets running parallel to everything else. Field-to-office visibility is clean, and the reporting is accurate because the data entry happens once at the source rather than getting transcribed across tools. What do you dislike about 9MILLS?

Because it's custom construction software built for our specific workflows, it takes more upfront time to define requirements properly. That's not a flaw, it's how custom development works, but teams expecting a fast out-of-the-box setup should factor that in. What problems is 9MILLS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Three core problems fragmented subcontractor reporting that created manual reconciliation work for foremen no centralised raw material procurement tracking; and poor field-to-office visibility that meant project data was always slightly out of date by the time it reached the office. All three are solved. The contractor workflow software 9mills built for us handles what Procore handles generically, but fitted to how our crews and subcontractors actually operate.
