What do you like best about 3Shape?

Automatic symmetrical design, innovative tools, beautiful, simple, and clutter-free UI, a simple workflow. I love the automatic medial/distal contact feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3Shape?

The lack of control when morphing/free designing, the lack of a 'cut contact' feature, or a way to make the contacts flush without having to adjust every other tooth on the arch. There are also many many bugs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering 3Shape:

I recommend using 3shape if you want an on-rails, simple, and fast way to pump out designs for large dental cases, like a full mouth restoration. If you want more control, to upload custom tooth libraries, or to have a more open system designing dental prosthetics, then I would consider a different software such as ExoCad. What problems is 3Shape solving and how is that benefiting you?

3shape is really beneficial for designing full-mouth restorations, and keeping the process simple. The benefits are that it takes a fraction of the time to complete large restorations when compared to other dental design software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
