What I like most about 3DXpert is that it offers a complete additive manufacturing workflow within a single piece of software. From CAD import and part orientation to support creation, simulation, and final build preparation, everything can be handled on one platform.
This saves a lot of time because there’s no need to switch between multiple tools or repeatedly convert files. The build simulation feature is especially helpful for metal printing, since it can highlight distortion, support failure, and other potential issues before actual production. As a result, it reduces trial builds and helps save material.
I also appreciate the advanced lattice and lightweighting tools, which are very useful for DfAM projects. The software provides excellent control over support structures and printing parameters. ne thing I feel could be improved in 3DXpert is the learning curve. Since it has many advanced features and tools, new users may need some time and proper training before becoming fully comfortable.
Some operations, especially for complex lattice design and simulation, can also require high system resources. The interface is powerful, but certain workflows could be made a little more intuitive for first-time users. Better onboarding tutorials and more beginner-friendly documentation would make the initial experience much smoother.
