We increased our cart conversion rate by 11% using 2Checkout optimized purchasing templates and checkout flow. In addition, the strong order tracking functionality helped us obtain improved and meaningful reporting that we can leverage to make informed decisions and set future goals. With the boost also from the affiliate sales, we estimate 2Checkout has helped us improve online sales overall by more than 18%. We also really like the conversion optimization service, which allows us to continuously improve our checkout page. It's a paid service, but the fee is reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about 2Checkout Monetization Platform? We've recently had quite a few issues with the responsiveness of the support team. This makes running our own support team much more difficult (e.g. providing our customers with reliable, timely information about failed purchases or delayed refunds). We've also suffered from a few bugs/glitches in the shopping cart (e.g. currency conversion errors). Our account manager has been great, though. Recommendations to others considering 2Checkout Monetization Platform: Make sure you get to know your account manager, as they'll be critical to solving any problems you encounter. Processing the volume of payments we receive, provisioning licenses, processing refunds, etc., is a big job, and we simply don't have the expertise to do it ourselves. Also, we have customers all around the world. Taking payments from them directly would require taxation expertise that we don't have in-house. (e.g. Which countries or states charge sales tax, and which don't.) Because 2Checkout takes all the payments on our behalf, they handle all tax compliance issues. This also drastically reduces our bookkeeping and accounting complexity and costs, as we're receiving only one payment per month. Finally, we really like the conversion optimization service, which allows us to continuously improve our checkout page based on real-world (AB test) data.
