The order, subscription, and refund management work very well. The client manager is always reachable and has ideas for improving processes. Out of the box, many features like cart recovery, retry logic and automated trigger mails are included. Customizing the shopping cart features and layout is also possible by URL parameters. What do you dislike about 2Checkout Monetization Platform? The shopping cart design is not up-to-date and others have a more modern looking design. Only one cart design can be selected. It is not possible to quickly switch to a 3 step approach, or have a lighweight design or a bold one. A/B testing is unfortunately also not possible out of the box. We are using Verifone as merchant-of-record to have a legal and tax entity that sells our software under our name. Handling taxes, refunds, shopper support, and chargebacks ourselves would require more expertise and resources. Billing and subscription management is also something we could not easily do in-house.
