Additionally, Humi offers an excellent blend of HRIS features along with a straightforward payroll application. **What do you dislike about Humi by Employment Hero?** I’ve noticed that most of the help desk support is based in the East, and as someone located in the West, this sometimes makes it more difficult for me to get assistance when I need it. **What problems is Humi by Employment Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many companies still lack a proper HRIS and remain stuck in the era of filing cabinets. Humi makes it much easier for me, as an HR professional, to manage these tasks in a user-friendly and easily accessible way. I can also share the platform with managers, who are able to use it effectively and understand where and how to complete their tasks. Easily integrated into our workflow and implementation was quick. The UI is easy to use and intuitive (for the most part, there are some odd quirks). **What do you dislike about Humi by Employment Hero?** As mentioned, there are some odd quirks with their UI. The search filters hid our terminated employees from us for a really long time. I worked with a payroll specialist who said they also struggled with it at first. It's a small quirk, and once you know where it is, it's an easy fix, it's just not intuitive at first. I also don't like that they don't have data processing in their reports, I have to download the reports as a CSV then process data in Excel. For example, when we report insurable earnings to WSIB, I go to the WSIB report, but I can't extract a total from the web report. Instead, I download the CSV, then calculate the total insurable earnings for WSIB eligible employees. Humi is relatively user friendly, and so far the transition has been pretty smooth. We use core HR every days, and then are currently working to set up the Performance Modules as well as Recruiting. Customer Service has been good for what we have needed, and the ease of integration from our old HRIS system was okay. **What do you dislike about Humi by Employment Hero?** Humi is less intuitive than our previous HRIS system, however, I know that they are always working to improve the system as well as they do take the feedback of their users pretty seriously. Currently, our recruiting module cannot link with Indeed Hiring, although, I know they are trying to work through that as well. **What problems is Humi by Employment Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mainly document storage, signing and time off requests. It has been a seamless integration since we launched 2 days ago so far employees seem already adapted pretty well, the onboarding process was seamless and easy. The AI custom support was very useful in directing us to the correct guides and the team was responsive in 2-3 business days. **What do you dislike about Humi by Employment Hero?** There is a lot of work still to do on the admin side, it was a lot of manual work to integrate employee profile information that wasnt basic info (name, email, etc.). We have spent a lot of time and resources that could have been used elsewhere to input data. The system could use some work on what we are able to adjust specifically tailored to our company and what we use. **What problems is Humi by Employment Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** Humi mainly functions for employee time-off requests, but as an Admin we use it for every days tasks, data input for position moves, promotions, reviews, recruiting (although Indeed has been down since we signed up). **Official Response from Jessica Johnston:** > Thank you for your review, Karighan! When I have questions about how to run payroll in Canada, they are usually able to answer them with the specifics of the Canadian system. I also appreciate the flexibility of plans based on the size of my business. I have a very small business with unique payment structure but Humi was able to accommodate my needs. **What do you dislike about Humi by Employment Hero?** There are two things that I struggle with about Humi. First, when the payroll processing date falls on a long weekend (Monday for a Friday payday), they move the payroll processing date to the previous Friday. This means that we have to process payroll before the payroll period is over. The customer support services are top notch and always quick responses and problems solved immediately. The HR functions combined with the payroll has improved all processes with allowing employees and managers visibility as any time. **What do you dislike about Humi by Employment Hero?** Payroll items can be locked in pay periods so not easy to do quick payroll deductions unless it is setup before starting payroll. **What problems is Humi by Employment Hero solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software has allowed us to properly setup reviews for employees along with setting goals to be tracked.
