Allows you to manage BIM data to perform design reviews, model-based takeoff, change management, conceptual estimating & more.
. Assemble is a 3 D based modeling software and the best thing I like about the software is it has 3D model based take off ability. It can pull off the data from elements that was fed to the elements in Revit. It is a very user friendly easy to user software. It can also be used as an alternate model viewing software. You can also extract the meta data from the Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While assemble is a good estimating software, it does it have a material library that we can use to fill out the items that were not modeled in revit software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Assemble cannot be used as a stand alone estimating software but the estimates from Assemble can be used to verify the estimates from other software that are made purely for estimating purposes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With assemble, we are trring to save all the data on cloud. The estimates can be accessed at any time and any place with good internet connectivity. Also, the take off process is very easy if all elements with proper information are modeled in Revit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The support at Jonas has been very easy to work with and flexible in meeting our demands. The software is very user friendly, was very easy to learn for us, and has a great layout. Their reports have a drilldown feature which has been extremely useful for us and has really helped us see exactly where our numbers are coming from. In comparison to our previous software we find that Jonas Premier doesn't require as many steps to accomplish a task. We previously used to utilize Microsoft Excel to create all our Job Cost Reports but Premier has saved us a lot of time and effort as it provides this information to us through their job cost reports which has really increased our efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up inventory was a challenge for us and the inability to initially have different units of measures was a drawback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Methvin is an online estimating application that allows you to generate quality cost estimates and winning bids allowing you to link worksheets to multiple tasks, set variable
I really like how easy the takeoff software is to use. When I'm asked about a certain section of a project, I can quickly use Methvin to get the numbers and quantities to the guys out in the field. It is very accurate once you get a good ruler set and this allows me to trust my numbers and not waste time double checking. I have not really got into the other things they offer such as pricing and gantt charts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm still fairly new to the software, but I do not believe it allows for a "backspace" while measuring something. You can move your polygon and length measures after you're done measuring, but I would like to be able to make a change while measuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Before this product, I was measuring everything by a ruler and I would forget if I had measured something already or not. I would also forget where I came up with some of my numbers. Now I color code and label different things and can easily show others in the office where exactly my numbers are coming from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite thing about ProEst is the manner is which data is stored and accessed. It has streamlined tracking sales by person, or division, and the hundreds of spreadsheets and reports have exponentially expanded our company's productivity. The database we have created for cost codes and unit prices is pretty standard for most estimating programs, but I do like how easy it was with ProEst. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The actual estimate and summary page can take a bit to learn. I am not a fan of saving each line item, as if they are not saved, it's hard to notice. That comes down to just becoming more familiar with the program, through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Data, data, data! It is so vital to a business to have RELIABLE data. As long as our users are utilizing the program correctly, our data is virtually 100% accurate. It never comes down to program problems. I also like that multiple users can see all estimates, as in my company, several of us will work on one at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy the robust access to subcontractors and the bid leveling feature. The ability to access many different reports. The ability to see the analytics of each project my company bids helps with assessing future opportunities. I really enjoy the ability to add new subcontractors to my bid list. I also like the ability to add unsolicited bids when leveling my bids. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly don't have many dislikes about this program. I guess the one gripe I have is the ability to update invalid emails for subcontractors. The companies that do not have valid emails should be purged from the system until the email is updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would challenge anyone to provide a more robust bid management program than BuildingConnected Pro. The features provided by BuildingConnected Pro are not offered by anyone else that I have been able to research. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The problem I am solving with BuildingConnected Pro is the ability to organize and efficiently level my bids. The benefits have been the reports that I am able to access through BuildingConnected Pro. Recently I had a negotiated project and the bidder lists and bidder response analytics helped with the trust between us and the client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our controller likes the way that the accounting side is set up but I don't have much experience with that (I am mostly working in the order entry and shipping side.). Accounting, inventory, order entry, and shipping all on one is nice.
I appreciate the ability to have multiple types of orders (sales order, return orders...) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The order entry, shipping, and customer portal are all quite cumbersome. Their "device hub" software for printing does not work on Macs so it is an annoying process to print packing slips and shipping labels.
I wish all of the order entry fields were visible at once instead of having to go through different tabs.
Some of the international shipping carrier integrations generate forms that could cause customs problems, we have brought this up to Acumatica and they don't seem to understand or care that they are incorrect.
The auto packaging function only takes total volume into account, (not length, width, and height) which is not useful unless you are shipping water or something that will conform to the box size...
The customer portal is very rudimentary, basically just a catalog. You can't see a photo of the product until you actually click on it, which can be confusing if you have multiple products with similar SKUs like we do. Many of our customers have complained that it is difficult to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are able to get our inventory and accounting systems to match up more closely than we could in our last system. Accounting, inventory, order entry, and shipping all on one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I particularly love the login Dashboard; I also love the Job Analysis page for each project. I find it is easy to run reports and complete project projections in this system. The support and continual training and webinar programs extended to Spectrum clients is amazing. It truly is a complete, comprehensive package to meet all needs of a mid-size (<$100M) company with many moving pieces of direct and indirect costs. It allows for you to view all aspects of a project financially and be able to manage it is real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I still find it difficult to understand all of the intricate nuances and settings which may affect particular reports, but I have only been working with this system a year so I imagine as my working knowledge of this system continues, I will not see this as a challenge any longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you compare Spectrum to other programs, it is easy to see how much more superior this product and support to comparable programs. If you are looking for an all-in-one program which not only handles the accounting, but also the project management, equipment and HR needs of a small to mid-sized (<$100M annual), then Spectrum definitely fits the complete bill for this, while still being a reasonable price tag. Overall, I would recommend Spectrum over other cloud-based programs I have used in other companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We complete a number of solutions to existing problems from WIP reporting to project projections. As well we have realized there are many more benefits to explore with the new HRM module, as well as the equipment module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would recommend trying this product out fully to see if it will work with your needs as there a re many tools, but only few you can use practically without using up too many work hours inputting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was unable to utilize the accounting portion of the software, which was the main reason to purchase this but I'm able to solve problems such as showing projected end dates which help keeping schedule in perspective while performing the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That it is very clear, no frills or fancy stuff. Makes the job easier & great for all levels to use. Lots of different options for reports, easy to tailor things to each user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very user friendly. More like excel than a database. Easy and quick to change input (most estimating programs require corrections to be made by taking items out and then entering them again rather than just changing them).
Training from Accubid is excellent and is a must as it will open doors to understanding the program that are not obvious. For example, unit pricing is excellent but it is unlikely you will find it on your own.
Call in Support from Accubid is also excellent. They really know what they are doing and answer your questions quickly and knowledgeably.
Power substitution is very powerful and allows end-users to more efficiently modify entered data and perform what-if scenarios.
Ability to quickly and easily copy or extract data to excel is very powerful and useful.
Interface with LiveCount (online takeoff) is also powerful and allows for linked data between PDF's and Smartbid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Out of the box database is limited but usable. Once you understand the program well plan to spend extra time creating assemblies.
Software updates are not as user friendly as they could be.
Program requires USB key to be inserted in the computer for the program to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This software does have all of the features that one would need to integrate accounting with project management and human resources, it integrates with other softwares. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This software is at its core an accounting software, especially in look, feel and user interface. While it does have the functionality to do much more, the unfortunate thing is that many users outside of accounting roles will not find it intuitive at all. To integrate with other softwares, much back end work is required and often help is not provided by Viewpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Make sure that your team is prepared to have extensive involvement during setup and implementation. Consider extra training for end users. Consider using accounting functionality alone, and integrating with other software for PM and HR functionality, most software that integrates have teams that handle the connection outside of Viewpoint, which is not really great once the sale has been made in terms of customer service. Currently we solve the issue of having a fully functioning accounting software that is able to integrate with separate project management and HR software products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Corecon develops an online construction software suite for estimating, project management, job cost control, scheduling, and collaboration.
Apart fro being a Cloud Based tool, Corecon has many features and very functional features, and it integrates other Applications like Quickbook and others.
Corecon is also perfect solution for easy job opportunities management, the tool reporting option works very well allowing the user to do some report editing.

Planswift is generally a good program with great organization. I often pull dozens of drawings from a bidset, and it can be difficult to keep them all on track. Folders, subfolders, renaming, easy moving/deleting is all helpful. A small bonus as well--a wide range of colors to keep my takeoff easy on the eyes. Hot pink is useful to no one. The cloud integration for our business network is great too, I can easily pull up information from other estimators if I need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It may just be my company/computer, but opening any archived jobs takes such a long time--perhaps because I have a lot of jobs stored. Also, sometimes Planswift randomly decides I don't have a license to use it and I have to reenter my company's information. Small, but annoying. It did require a bit of a learning curve, but if you're already familiar with construction software (I was), it's not too difficult to pick up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keep in mind this does have a bit of a learning curve--can't speak for everyone, but it did take me a bit of getting used to. It has the nice feature of overlaying different versions of drawings, so very helpful for additional addendums that may have changed things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Without Plansiwft, I wouldn't be able to do takeoffs for my quotes. It easily exports to an excel spreadsheet to integrate with Corecon, our other main software. This keeps everything in one spot without putting our info through too many steps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The job costing module is fully integrated with the general ledger and payroll modules making the booking of entries into the various modules seamless. The financial reporting module is very flexible in terms of exporting to PDF, Excel or word formats and editing of reports in these formats is very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the WIP reports are a little to basic and could do with more substantive reporting features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Detailed job costing is critical to understanding where you are on a job in terms of profitability and this is excellent with Foundation. Enables you to consolidate multiple entities financial information into one consolidated FS module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Switching between formats, assigning WBS and many more. The benefit is I can have my estimate built and viewed in many ways and it helps the client to view the information I give, in any way they wants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Every feature is best in this , easy to find function definition , rename of variables , opening header files with just one click .debugging is very easy in eclips.Best thing is with checkstyle is with out build it will give you warnings and errors of syntax .finding magic numbers and function auto generated headers . Deltek ComputerEase is a construction accounting and project management software that integrates job costs with a remote job-to-office tool to help you manage your projects.
There is a help menu or F1 feature in most of the fields within the program, which allows the help menu to open up in the section of the module you are currently in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Before anything will show up on the General Ledger you need to run an update. I wish this would automate.
The response time for submitting a technical support ticket delayed tremendously. It was 7 days after submitting a ticket related to a payroll issue before I received a call back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I would recommend ComputerEase for any general contractor as well as subcontractors. The job costing is as detailed as you need it to be. Easy to move throughout the program and very user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prior to ComputerEase we were using Quickbooks. ComputerEase has allowed for us to have a more comprehensive understanding as to the total costs for each project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that with TPM I no longer have to review subcontractor payment applications for math errors anymore. It's impossible to make a math error with the software. I also like that TPM posts my invoices to my accounting system automatically. This saves me hours every month as well as saves hours for people in my finance department. We can also finally pay our subcontractors electronically. Without TPM we pay subs with a paper check. Lastly, waiver collection is much easier since TPM does all of the collection work for us. I used to have to collect waivers via an email I sent to every subcontractor every month and play the waiting game. I no longer have to do this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My team complains about the number of emails they get. I realize I can turn some emails off but I haven't found a good balance of emails my team should receive and emails I should shut off.
I still find that I have to remind my team to do their reviews but I'm not sure that's a TPM problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've solved the problem of errors in our subcontractor billings and in our owner billings. I actually had a new client (that we are hoping to get additional work from) tell me that they really appreciated the consistency and accuracy of my billings. We were able to provide a clean billing including Conditional Waivers that the owner decided they wanted with the package.
We've also solved the issue of subcontractors adding change orders to an invoice without approval. TPM will not allow for it. We are saving time since we no longer haven to audit our billings for these surprise change orders.
We can pay subs electronically after we have been cutting paper checks since the beginning of time. I've actually had subs request electronic payments in the past and we were not able to do it.
Waiver collection has been an issue before Textura. I used to manually request waivers every month through an email to every subcontractor. I would have to keep a log of the waivers I needed and then I would have to wait to receive them back. Sometimes that could take weeks. With TPM I'm getting every waiver I need 72 hours after payment is released and there's no more emailing or checking logs. Again, another time saver.
TPM is also saving our finance department time. Since Textura automatically posts are Accounts Payable record after approval, there is no longer a need to have finance post invoices.
In general the time we are saving on menial tasks like checking math, collecting waivers and posting invoices can now be spent on more important tasks like forecasting and cash management. In addition to the time we are saving on these types of tasks we are also saving time on our team reviews. There's no longer a need to have a review meeting with the team.
