Zendrea is a cloud accounting application for Swiss sole proprietors, freelancers and small companies. It combines double-entry bookkeeping on the Swiss chart of accounts with VAT returns including an upload file for the ESTV portal, payroll with AHV/IV/EO and BVG contributions, QR-bill invoicing, and bank reconciliation via camt.053 statement imports. An AI assistant pre-fills bookings (from prompts or scanned receipts), answers questions about the figures and checks the ledger for posting mistakes; every booking suggestion remains a draft until a user approves it. Account labels and workflows use plain language so that people without an accounting background can keep correct books. The interface is available in German, French, Italian and English. Data is stored and processed in Switzerland, the AI assistant runs on Swiss sovereign infrastructure, and an optional at-rest encryption mode protects the books with a passphrase only the customer holds.
