Great for Learning Distributed Databases with Real-World Use

One thing I've appreciated more recently is how well YugabyteDB handles failover in practice - not just in theory. When I tested node failures in a 3-node setup, the recovery was smoother than I expected. The PostgreSQL compatibility has also gotten noticeably better; more of my existing queries just work without tweaking. The active open-source community on GitHub has also been helpful when I ran into edge cases.

I have not changed my mind: Yugabyte has a Strong Concept, and should be encouraged to implement more of their ideas and softwar.
