SPAN (SPorts ANalysis) is a cloud-based video analytics software for formation sports like soccer, football, basketball etc. and racket sports like tennis, squash etc. SPAN offers the end-to-end workflow required for sports analytics department of teams, clubs, universities and federations. The workflow covers video uploading, secure access, permissions management, low bandwidth streaming, tagging, tagging template creation, playlist creation, editing, drawings, telestrations, sharing, creation of charts, integrations with GPS/ankle trackers etc. Since SPAN is cloud based, tagged data in SPAN is instantaneously accessible to all members of the club, making it useful for in-game adjustments. SPAN's template and panel design systems help analysts curate their own analytics strategy. SPAN also offers a query-engineered ChatGPT powered interface for coaches and analysts to interact freely with SPAN data and create insights with visual charts. For advanced users, SPAN data can be handled with python scripts which can be saved for reuse. SPAN also offers data downloads in multiple data formats (CSV, XML etc.) for use in other analytics tools.
