Waves Lawn Watering Calculator is a free watering-plan widget and JSON API for HOAs, property managers, landscapers and local websites in Southwest Florida. Add a short embed snippet to show residents this week's lawn watering plan: how many days to water and how long to run each zone. The plan uses the last seven days of measured rain (NOAA radar checked against rain gauges), the forecast and evapotranspiration, and it stays inside the local water district's watering rules. Residents pick a city or ZIP code; grass type, sprinkler head, minutes per zone and rain sensor are optional. Developers can call the free JSON API directly or add the plan to Home Assistant. The open-source core is on GitHub under the MIT license. Free, with no sign-up.
