ModelRisk is an Excel add-in that allows the user to include uncertainty in their spreadsheet models.

ModelChoice is a decision analysis add-in for Microsoft Excel. Build decision trees directly on the worksheet and the optimal strategy updates continuously as you type, with backward induction handled automatically. Sixteen analytical reports go beyond expected value: risk profiles, one-way and two-way sensitivity analysis, robustness scoring, reverse goal-seek, policy trees, strategy tables, and the expected value of perfect and imperfect information. Multi-criteria decision analysis with AHP weight elicitation and four utility functions handle preferences that money alone cannot express, while ModelRisk integration adds full Monte Carlo simulation for continuous uncertainty. Existing PrecisionTree models migrate in one click, and an automation API covers Python, .NET and VBA.

Vose Software builds quantitative risk analysis software for organisations that need to put defensible numbers on uncertainty. Founded in 2008 in Ghent, Belgium by two quantitative risk consultants, it develops four products: ModelRisk, which brings Monte Carlo simulation into Microsoft Excel; Tamara, for project cost and schedule risk analysis; ModelChoice, for decision analysis and decision trees in Excel; and Pelican, a fully quantitative enterprise risk register and integrated risk management platform. The tools are used across government, defence, engineering and construction, pharmaceuticals, energy, insurance and banking to quantify cost, schedule, financial and operational risk. Vose Software publishes its list prices openly, offers a permanently free edition of ModelRisk, and maintains an extensive public risk analysis knowledge base.
